“I am a highly productive G5/FCS/D2 player and have dominated my level of competition, should I enter the portal and move up a level to challenge myself and compete at a higher level?” Out of 319 combine invites: 15 G5 Players got invited 5 FCS Players got invited 0 D2/D3/NAIA Players got invited That is 6.27% of all invites that went to sub P4 players. Would you rather give yourself a 93.73% chance to get a combine invite or a 6.27% chance to get a combine invite? Of course anything can happen but I would much rather have a 93% chance to get what I want going into anything in life. Why would it make sense just to lower your odds going into something on purpose?

I like his ability to get his hands on defensive lineman in pass protection with ease -- a skill that will help him with any athleticism concern. He can get knocked back a little initially, but he has a strong anchor which will help make up for it. Overall, there is a good frame to work with and he has the traits to make it to the P4 level.

This was clearly a completion and another horrendous call made by @SECOfficiating. The ball clearly hits the left forearm and while laying sideways across hits the right forearm and is fully possessed without ever hitting the ground. Just bad ball and why can’t we just let teams win without the refs completely changing games every week.

The Georgia native came to Cali and was the dominant physical presence the Aztecs needed and were always missing in their OFF. Another example of good players being at any level. Waymond Jordan played CFB his last two seasons at a JUCO ( Hutchinson CC). You can develop anywhere with the right pieces around you. Don’t go play P4 ball and ride the bench. You can play lower level first & get your opp.

The anti-portal/NIL and BCS era old school minded coaches that are un-willing to innovate and change to the new ways continue to get humbled week in and week out. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting and hoping for a different outcome. We need all CFP era innovative minded coaches for the best, most competitive, and most efficient version of CFB as possible. Comfort, stubbornness, and the unwillingness to adapt to the new era leads to a decline in success or will have you jobless in this era. Everybody still tries to preach culture, past success/history & tradition of program, and loyalty but none of that honestly exists anymore. This is now a transactional what have you done for me lately professional-style business. The Kumbaya is over.

This will backfire on the committee. Too much restriction causes more bad than good. Tampering will just continue to get worse with every power conference team in the country. One tiny 10 day window will just be a formality and not mean much, and scouting/recruiting will greatly increase to way higher than it was before and after the windows.

The NCAA FB Oversight Committee voted today to support a single transfer portal in January, sources tell @YahooSports, ushering in a significant change. The Administrative Committee still needs to formally adopt the change later. The 10-day window is expected to open Jan. 2.
