Society swears that men move on from breakups faster and easier than women. It’s a massive misconception. When a relationship ends, a woman loses a partner, but she usually falls back into a massive safety net of friends, family, and deep emotional support. When a man loses a long-term relationship, he often loses his only emotional support system. We see him quietly hitting the gym or working eighty-hour weeks and assume he's fine, but the brutal reality is he is grieving in absolute, terrifying isolation because nobody checks on single men.

The United Nations has finally said what the world has always known but too many have been too cowardly to declare: the transatlantic slave trade was the gravest crime against humanity. And yet, predictably, shamefully, and disgracefully, the United States and the United Kingdom could not bring themselves to stand on the right side of history. Let that sink in. The very nations that built their wealth, power, and global dominance on the backs of stolen Black bodies, on rape, torture, forced labor, family separation, and generational dehumanization, refused to fully acknowledge the magnitude of their crimes. The United States didn’t just participate in slavery, it perfected it. Chattel slavery in America was not incidental. It was industrial. It was theologicalized. It was codified into law and culture. It was a system so brutal, so comprehensive, that its aftershocks are still killing us today through mass incarceration, economic inequality, healthcare disparities, and state-sanctioned violence. And the United Kingdom? An empire that colonized the globe, trafficked millions of Africans, destabilized nations, extracted resources, and then had the audacity to “abolish” slavery, only to compensate slave owners while leaving the enslaved with nothing but trauma and poverty. And now, when the global community dares to tell the truth, they hesitate. They abstain. They object. Why? Because truth demands accountability. And accountability demands repair. The United States claims it opposed the language because it fears a “hierarchy of crimes.” That’s not a serious argument, it’s a deflection. You cannot rank atrocities while standing on top of one. You cannot sanitize history while benefiting from its brutality. You cannot rebrand slavery as “job training,” strip it from textbooks, ban its teaching in classrooms, and then pretend your objection is about fairness or intellectual integrity. This is not about language. This is about refusal. Refusal to apologize. Refusal to repair. Refusal to reckon. It is the same spirit that resists teaching accurate Black history. The same spirit that dismantles DEI. The same spirit that gaslights descendants of the enslaved while continuing to profit from their oppression. This resolution was not radical, it was restrained. It was not punitive, it was truthful. And even truth was too much. So let the record reflect: When the world moved toward justice, the United States and the United Kingdom stood still, clutching their myths, protecting their comfort, and exposing, yet again, that their commitment to “freedom” has always been conditional. History is watching. And so are we.

Ghana’s President John Mahama warned at the UN that erasing Black history in the U.S. risks global consequences as nations move to recognize slavery as a grave crime against humanity. Efforts to reshape museums, school curriculum, and historical narratives tied to slavery and racism only deepen the harm. When truth is erased, injustice is empowered. We cannot build a just future on a rewritten past. Telling the WHOLE truth about America’s past is the foundation of progress!

According to psychology, the biggest problem for overthinkers is that when they get too attached to someone, their entire mood depends on how the other person responds to them. They are so attuned to other people's emotions that they can notice the slightest change in someone's behaviour. Learn to regulate your emotions. If you are being controlled by your own emotions, you will end up hurting either yourself or them in the end. So if you love an overthinker, there are things you need to know. Their neediness isn't simply neediness, it's fear. I promise you, no one is more tired by their overactive mind than they are. They live with it every day and wish they could live life without the dozen hypotheticals invading each moment, but they can't. It's sometimes difficult to see, but there is beauty in overthinking. Those people who are most afraid to hurt are also the ones who love the most. If you love an overthinker, you should appreciate that. Be there for them. Tell them you're not going away. Reassure them they are still learning to trust. They're learning to let go of their fears. Because the one before you walked away after love got a little hard. Not one Senate Democrat showed up to work today. I have never seen anything like it in all my years in Congress. They expect DHS employees to show up without pay while they won't even do their own jobs. Shameful. Americans should be absolutely outraged.

Crimes covered include Social Security fraud… SNAP fraud… mail fraud… conspiracy to defraud the United States… bribery or theft involving federal funds… ID fraud… and other schemes targeting taxpayer resources.
