@localvampiree i generally still do love the book and his other works but it was incredibly hard for me to ignore dazai and his very blatant views. this is a problem with most classics given the time period i still sigh audibly reading the call of cthulu and lovecrafts other works for similar

@yokainii_ plus i was sleepy 😭 i didn't know it was a movie i thought it was just another ep and i was like "oh okay just i'll just watch another ep and then sleep" AND AFTER HALF AN HOUR I REALIZED IT WAS 1.5 HOURS.

@localvampiree i love dead apple but the movie adaptation really did make ot harder to understand lolol it's mainly due to the pacing i think, that and the animation just looks a little off when it comes to characters

tbh when i watched dead apple i couldn't understand anything i need to watch it again
