@SarahForRuncorn In the build up last week's by-election, I had someone tell me Reform were not a racist party. Comments like this, coming from their MPs, proves that they most definately are.

@DavidWatts12 Reform on Notts County Council has voted to sell Broxtowe down the river and force us into the City Council. This is against what they said in their manifesto back in May, along with their broken promise to freeze council tax. It's time to stand up for Broxtowe.

@johnlbirch @gu41257530 @ElectionMapsUK I am one of the candidates, and I wouldn't want to have money on it. Labour won in 2023 by 12 votes from Lib Dems. The winning Labour councillor who passed away split from the party as part of Broxtowe Alliance. Throw Reform into the mix and add Tories and Independent.

@gu41257530 @ElectionMapsUK Broxtowe - not so sure, but the rest pretty much as you suggest. Six candidates in Broxtowe including two Indy/"Locals", so very hard to predict.

@Conservatives But not as weak as the Leader of the Opposition. Honestly, is this the best comment your party can put out? You really need to take a long hard look at yourselves. You are about to be pushed into extinction, on the right by Reform and on the left by the Lib Dems.

@Beardyface4 @PeaChannon @dlLambo @metpoliceuk After listening to a KC on the radio your logic is kind of right. He was saying Bob Vylan could use a similar defence too, because who in the audience at Glastonbury or watching on BBC had the army needed or even the ability to wage war on the IDF?

@PeaChannon @dlLambo @metpoliceuk Investigation: Is this incitement? Who has nukes to be incited by it? Not the public, any of them. Is this obviously intended to be humorous rather than actually incite bombing with nukes? Bloody obviously so. Investigation over, no further action.

A man NOT under investigation by British police 👇 "A small yield nuclear weapon, such as the American W89, dropped on Glastonbury in late June would immediately remove from our country almost everybody who is hugely annoying."

Chatting with an asylum seeker on the bus. He’s from Kuwait - one of the safest countries in the world - and has been in Britain since 2021. He’s never worked. Lives in central London. Catches up with friends on his iPhone. So much evidence of total system failure in one man.

@simonproche @Ankananupamdash @bodhan11 @icelandcricket Simon, reality is that these people specially in indian living in India were brainwashed that every bombing activities in India were done by Pakistan. Those Indians living abroad wanted to travel in india. It's just a propaganda in India against Pakistan due to politics.

@Ankananupamdash @bodhan11 @icelandcricket I agree there are terrorist elements in Pakistan, yet the average Pakistani is just trying to get through their day (the same as many) and has little to do with that. It was 'no one cares about Pakistan' that I was objecting to. If India don't want to go, that it is up to them.

@Billridley @scteviyah @BLAIMGame Some of it did seem crazy even at the time. We had all these new unthought through rules with some police not using common sense on enforcing them. Hence you had an old person getting in trouble for siting on a bench for a rest during their daily exercise.

@scteviyah @BLAIMGame Always easy to criticise in retrospect. They were frightening times. The tv reports from Italy made you extremely nervous. Lots of things could have been done better but at the time with panic in the air they appeared reasonable steps to protect the public, business and economy.

@simonproche @bodhan11 @icelandcricket So you guys want India to visit a country that has since its existence solely indulged in terrorist activities in India instead of peace and dialogue? Or are you incapable of processing the hurt since your country has only ever colonised and terrorised other countries?

@bodhan11 @icelandcricket As an Englishman, I do, so not 'nobody'. Your point of view is subjective, not fact. Every country that wants to play cricket should be respected. The love of our great game should unite people, not divide.

@LordRennard @HouseofCommons @UKHouseofLords @LibDemLords I favour an elected 2nd chamber but prefer term Senate but maybe a compromise could be 80% elected 20% appointed for single non renewable terms of eg 15 ys The Italian Senate has a very small number of life Senators and works well. Current UK Lords model is really unsustainable!

Today in @HouseofCommons and @UKHouseofLords, @LibDemLords and MPs will argue for elections to the 2nd chamber. The 1911 Parliament Act spoke of moving from hereditary representation to the popular principle. I will say, “Only in this place, could 113 years be considered too short a time to agree the details”.

@mikegalsworthy Hershey's can't even be called chocolate in Europe as has only 10% cocoa content. They really could do with making it higher as it may take away the taste of sick. Their cheese can't be called cheese either. Even the FDA call it "Pasteurized Processed American Cheese Food".

So if it's a trade choice between: a) chlorinated chicken, plastic cheese, nasty chocolate and b) European food, beer & wine... ...I confess, I have a strong preference for the latter.
