Austin Fire is on scene of a residential structure fire in the 2800 block of Inridge Drive. The fire has been extinguished, and all occupants are accounted for. @ATCEMS is assessing one occupant for injuries.

FINAL UPDATE: 1 resident was transported to the hospital by #ATCEMS. The fire cause was accidental-electrical.

Austin Fire is onscene of a room and contents house fire at 5604 Meadow Crest. Fire has been extinguished with resident being treated by #ATCEMS for smoke inhalation. No other injuries. Fire cause is under investigation.

@TDEM announced a coordinated statewide test of local alerting systems to evaluate the effectiveness and functionality of these public warning tools. This test will occur on April 2, 2026 between 10 am and 12:30 pm.

Upon arrival, AFD found a single story residence on fire. Crews quickly extinguished the fire after APD secured the scene from a related safety issue. The fire is under control.

Structure fire in the 1900 block of Edgeware Drive. There will be a large police and fire presence. Please stay clear of the area.
