@ChazMakes @BambulabGlobal No, please stop. It is a known issue and there is no fix. It isn't idler gears, or filament dryer, or feeding from the top. The entire extruder assembly is bottom tier for TPU.

What's been going on lately in the 3D Printing scene? I'm out of the loop.

@BahaBlastoise @BambulabGlobal Goodness, my P2S seems ooookaaaay with 95A but I haven't tried foaming tpu on it yet.. What shore hardness do you primarily print? Perhaps the tension of the idler gear in the H2 is gripping the TPU way too hard.

@ChazMakes @BambulabGlobal Both. It's really the worst TPU printer out of my 9 printers. It is a 3% success rate of printing.

@ChazMakes same incremental stuff from the big players. slightly bigger beds, slightly faster cures. but there's some wild stuff brewing in centrifugal printing that's about to change the conversation. stay tuned.

@lost_in_tech I honestly run PEI cold like 35c, idk if it's my luck but I get great adhesion, no need for a fancy cold plate.

@Mauker Add the 90% humidity and house that traps all heat + lack of AC into the mix, it sucks! My room will stay at 30+c all night long now.

We probably undersell OrcaSlicer features too much. Did you know OrcaSlicer supports printing with different nozzle sizes? This feature was first introduced by @fever_soft in v2.2.0-beta back in 2024 (!!). In v2.4.0-alpha, IanAlexis fixed a regression, and now it works even better. More enhancements are coming soon! Pro tip: use percentages for line widths. Video below 👇
