I am part of the mass layoffs at the Washington Post. I am sad and angry. We all want to keep doing the work. But for now I want to document a reality of being in journalism today.

Brooks Koepka’s Tour return at Torrey is a great opportunity to remind you he’s still playing @TaylorMadeGolf ‘17 M2 (3-wood) and @Nike Vapor Fly Pro (3-iron). Fun fact about the Vapor Fly Pro: It has two thumbprint-sized divots in the Fujikura Pro shaft from years of rubbing against the bag. Not sure I’ve ever seen anything like it while covering gear on tour. Whatever works.

I had a very specific craving for the Adobada Tacos from Tacos El Gordo today. So…I drove down to Chula Vista and got them. They’re absolutely incredible.

#RIPRobReiner Our careers and lives intersected often over the decades from Rob writing the pilot script for Happy Days and then as we each shifted from acting careers into directing and producing. He proved to be a superlative filmmaker, a supportive colleague and at all times a dedicated citizen. Rob will be missed on so many levels. My heart goes out to his family and his many close friends.

Rob Reiner was Hollywood Royalty. This is a horrific, tragic loss. He blessed the world with a treasure trove of comedy gold. This is my favorite. Often when I'm putting on my shoes, I think of the 'Sock And A Sock' scene from All In The Family. ~ Rest In Peace 🕊️

Rob Reiner (1947–2025)

Rob Reiner’s The Princess Bride is an inseparable part of my childhood. We owned this on VHS. Watched it at the lake every summer. How could you not? I’m just seriously in absolute shock right now. We just lost a legend on so many fronts. Rest in power.

Rob Reiner’s five-film run from 1986 to 1992 is as impressive as they come. Five unforgettable movies spanning five different genres is something not just any director can pull off. Rest in peace.

What a huge loss. Rob Reiner was one of my favorite directors. He made some of the most formative movies for my generation. He came out form behind a huge comedic shadow of the great Carl Reiner and being a tv actor to being a a great director who made an incredible run of movies. Spinal Tap is one of the best comedies ever made - and the list goes on. He was a kind caring person who was really really funny. I didn’t know him well but was always a fan and I feel a real sadness for those who did, and his family. 💙
