I'm sorry but how on earth is this not front page news everywhere? A child. Cigarettes extinguished on his body. A metal rod inserted into his feet. In front of his father. This is documented, filmed, and handed over through the Red Cross. Where is the ICC? Where is the outrage from those who lecture the world about human rights?
Sameh Ahmed 𓂆 🇵🇸@PalPress24

The child who was subjected to torture (including having cigarettes extinguished on his body and a metal rod inserted into his feet in front of his father)— In a delayed video released by the occupation, the moment of his handover to the International Committee of the Red Cross is documented in the “Yellow Line” area east of Gaza, days after he was detained along with his father. During his detention, he was subjected to severe abuses, while his father remains imprisoned by the occupation to this moment.

Those who forced us to gather the remains of our children and fathers in plastic bags now want you to know that international law mandates the protection of civilian lives. I know where international law was when they were killing, burning, and slaughtering us—and slaughtering our children.

We've all seen unending horror from the genocide but this is the image that never stops haunting me. This is what happens to a little kid just like my daughter when the Zionists gleefully drop a bomb into her family home, blowing the pieces of her across the street onto a roof.

☘️This day, beneath a sky washed in green, I stood in Galway watching Saint Patrick’s Day unfold, not as a parade, but as a living memory of a people who remember who they are. I smiled for a long time, quietly, almost in disbelief. Yet my smile carried the weight of another place. Before me, a nation moved as one: artists, communities, universities, voices—each different, yet bound in a single rhythm. It was not performance, but belonging made visible. A people who endured the long shadow of occupation, and still rose, patiently,to shape dignity out of memory. And as I watched, I saw Palestine. I imagined our streets. Our people. Our voices rising together, not under siege, but in freedom. I asked myself, almost in a whisper: will we one day stand like this? With this unity, this sovereignty, this unbroken sense of belonging? How alike these two peoples are, the Irish and the Palestinian, each carrying history carved by struggle, each refusing to lose themselves. Galway continues to move me. Today, I stood at the very back of the crowd, unable to see. And then, a small moment that felt immense, a woman from security recognised me. She took my hand and guided me forward through the crowd. People stepped aside, not reluctantly, but with a warmth I cannot explain. When she told them I was a Palestinian journalist, they welcomed me as if I were already known. There are moments when kindness feels almost sacred. For the Irish, this day is celebration. For me, it became something else, A quiet, growing desire to belong. To share in their joy and their memory. And somewhere within me, between what I carry and what I hope, one question remains: Will we, too, one day stand like this? May Ireland remain in peace and dignity 🇮🇪☘️🇵🇸 #patrikda #galway #irlanda🇮🇪 #irland #patrik_day

I think all decent folk have a latent fury within them, that they do not dwell on. This enables them to function. However, to be faced with this provocation, this indecent, morally bankrupt, soul corrupting pantomime. This pretence of civility whilst sports washing the most evil, despicable, gleefully murderous, genocidal regime imaginable in the modern era, is a massive step beyond what is tolerable. There are many things in life more important than sport. Integrity, decency, morality, honour & self respect among them. No welcoming of child slaughtering psychopaths in Ireland. Fuck the Zionists & every manifestation of their regime. Free Palestine🇵🇸

We are finally publishing the results of over a year of investigative work. We infiltrated two Israeli settlements, interviewed Palestinian workers and shepherds, traced the streams of foreign funding, to expose Israel's energy apartheid in the West Bank. Most importantly, this investigation is actionable. There is a list of complicit companies at the end.

Last 24 hours: -Israeli settlers killed a Palestinian-American teen -UN report warned of ethnic cleansing in Gaza and occupied West Bank -CPJ report said Palestinian journalists tortured and raped in Israeli jails -Lancet study said Gaza death toll was far higher You wouldn’t know if you followed Western media because they’re too busy quietly manufacturing consent for another war in the Middle East.

Today something difficult and painful happened to me. I was on my way to charge my phone at a man’s place in Deir al-Balah who had solar panels installed on top of his destroyed home. These panels were his small livelihood — he charged people’s phones for one dollar or a little less per phone. Suddenly, the occupation army targeted the solar panels with a quadcopter carrying a bomb and dropped it directly on them. These panels were only a way to help many people, including me. They were a source of electricity in a place lacking the most basic necessities of life, yet they were destroyed. What happened left me with deep sadness and a painful question: how can something that served only civilians and helped them survive be targeted?

Since the launch of the second phase of the agreement, the health sector in Gaza has entered a sharp and unprecedented collapse, with a dangerous decline in the flow of medical supplies. The healthcare system is struggling to survive, and the health sector has received no more than 5% of total aid—an alarming sign of an imminent humanitarian catastrophe threatening the lives of patients and the wounded. What is happening is not a logistical crisis, but a systematic policy of deprivation through the closure of crossings and the prevention of truck entry, leading to a deliberate and severe shortage of medical supplies. The deficit has reached 46% in medications, 66% in medical consumables, and 84% in laboratory materials and blood bank supplies—effectively disabling the tools of diagnosis, treatment, and life-saving care, and amounting to a silent killing. The medical aid currently entering is merely symbolic; it does not meet even the minimum level of need and does not prevent patients from being lost one after another due to a lack of medicine. Essential laboratory services such as blood banks and vital diagnostic tests have been suspended, resulting in paralysis of medical decision-making, the disruption of surgical operations, and the inability to perform blood transfusions. The absence of laboratory testing has turned treatment into guesswork, with imprecise dosages and unguided antibiotics, exacerbating complications and threatening lives. The most severely affected groups are elderly patients, intensive care patients, and children, as the interruption of laboratory monitoring leads to worsening illness and death. We are facing extremely dangerous indicators and a tragic reality that requires urgent international action before even greater health disasters occur. — Dr. Munir Al-Barsh Director General, Ministry of Health in Gaza

📍 Ireland On 10 February 2026, human rights defenders Áine Treanor, Aindriú de Buitléir, and Eimear Walshe, also known as The Shannon Three, will appear before Ennis Circuit Court where their trial before a jury is set to commence. The pre-trial hearing scheduled for 4 November 2026 was deferred to February 2026, almost two years after the proceedings began. The human rights defenders are charged with “trespassing” under Section 11 of the Public Order Act and “interfering with the operation, management and security of an airport” under Section 47 of the Air Navigation and Transport Act 1998. The charges were brought against them for a peaceful protest in March 2024 in which they allegedly entered the runway of Shannon Airport to raise awareness of the airport’s use by the US military in the provision of weapons to Israel fuelling the genocide in Gaza. The HRDs have stated that for more than 20 years; monthly vigils, protests, and parliamentary questions have failed to prompt the Irish Government to engage in an open, democratic discussion on the use of Shannon Airport as a de facto military base since 2002. They describe their action as a non-violent act of last resort, intended to draw attention to the ongoing militarisation of Shannon Airport and the Government’s disregard for public opposition. The charges were initially brought before the Ennis District Court, which subsequently declared a lack of jurisdiction over the matter, and the case was transferred to the Ennis Circuit Court. If convicted, they may face a fine of up to €250,000 and imprisonment of up to two years. Read more: zurl.co/UMmgE
