@Weir4Liberty Best question is "how many patients per day does my Dr see" In most systems is about 30, but if you can find one with 20 or less, that's where the good-hearted doctors (preferring quality of care to higher comp) are.

If your primary care provider appears to have a BMI over 30... walk out and find a new doctor. In a system that feasts off its clientel being (or staying) sick... we should not be trusting healthcare advice from unhealthy people.

@credenzaclear2 Being godly does (on average) lead to a community full of wealth, children, and stability. Abandoning this success metric, will cause the adoption of irrelevant metrics like not drinking/smoking, frequently praying the rosary, wearing cilices, attending church, etc, etc.

minor nitpick but i think humans are getting like maybe 10 multimodal tokens per second (including vision, sound, touch, proprioception, etc) so that's ~36k tokens per hour, not 2k. so still many OOMs gap from ai, but like a bit less of a chasm.

@FreeStatePete @christopherrufo @joelpollak Agree. But, it’s legal and it’s the way the system is designed. The moral culpability lies with those who enacted the system, not with those forced to use it. I find it repugnant that my taxes go to murdering babies, yet I still pay.

The reason that Republicans have not set up their own ballot harvesting operation is too long for a tweet, but here is the summary: It is illegal to harvest ballots as a Republican. Not technically, but if you are GOP and you step out of line on even the smallest thing, they will put you in jail for 20 years.

I think the flaw here is assuming that a father's only value is financial. Creating a bunch of single mommies with privatized child support downplays the developmental & psychological benefits of having a present father figure in your child's life.

There's a certain type of libertarian-leaning person who seems to think that if you don't let pharmaceutical companies abuse intellectual property law, then there won't be new drugs. They never justify this theory, they just hand-wave about R&D costs they leave unquantified.

Our people are mostly in construction and programming. Imperative that we build power plants and data centers. We should be shooting for something crazy like 20% of world compute. Will scare away enemies, attract allies. Gives massive leverage in federal / world politics.
