The Lyrid meteor shower peaks tonight where around 10-15 meteors per hour may pass across the skies above ⭐ With clear skies in the forecast, some will have good viewing conditions this evening 🔭

Temperatures are on the up tomorrow, away from eastern coasts, but a brisk easterly wind will make things feel much cooler 🌬️

Feeling warm in the sunshine across many areas tomorrow but due to the added easterly breeze, temperatures will struggle along windward coasts 🌬️

Turning increasingly windy tonight and into Wednesday morning across southwest England The strongest winds are likely around exposed coasts and high ground, with peak gusts of 50-60 mph in a few places and locally higher in the vicinity of Dartmoor

Lots of sunny spells will develop this afternoon so it’s worth remembering your sun protection as UV levels at this time of year can be similar to those seen in late August 😎

Parts of Spain and France will see temperatures well above average this week, with many areas reaching the high 20s or low 30s °C These temperatures are more typical of summer and unusual for April, driven by a southeasterly flow pulling warm air northwards from Africa 🌡️
