I am so excited to announce my commitment to play D1 soccer at North Dakota State University. I thank God for guiding me through this process and blessing me with this opportunity. Huge thank you to my parents, friends, teammates, and coaches who have supported me along the way.

After injuring my knee earlier this year, I made a promise to myself: once I healed, I would cherish every moment I had with two strong knees. To push my limits, I decided to join my high school’s cross country team, even though I knew long-distance running was never my thing. Now that our season wrapped up yesterday, I’m thrilled to say I reached that goal. It took countless early mornings waking up at 4:30 AM, late nights, and sacrificing time with family and friends over the past five months, but I did it. As I close this chapter, I’m excited to see what the next one has in store for me.

As we kick off tomorrow in North Carolina, we want to take the time to support a club who was recently affected in the state by Hurricane Helene. We’re devastated by the challenges ahead for those affected and are eager to assist in the rebuilding process. Like so many others in the area, Highland FC suffered from substantial flooding damage and faces a long road of rebuilding and recovery from this disaster. Currently, their entire complex is under water and so many families have seen their lives forever changed by this tragedy. Soccer is a unifying connection between citizens and communities, and while there are many, many more important priorities, as life returns closer to normal for western North Carolina, sport and soccer can be part of that healing process. As such, please join the ECNL community in donating to the Highland FC Helene Relief Fund, which will go toward providing need-based financial assistance for players, ensuring no child is turned away as they aim to once again just be a kid and play the beautiful game we all love.
