I am glad to have met Carol O’Connell, Advisor to the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy at the U.S. State Department 🇺🇸 , together with members of the U.S. delegation at the 20th Session of PAHO’s Subcommittee on Program, Budget, and Administration.

We identified promising opportunities to strengthen PHC, expand telehealth, and leverage financing mechanisms through development partners. PAHO remains committed to providing technical guidance and supporting the effective use of our knowledge and tools in collaboration with 🇬🇩.

I had a productive meeting yesterday with Grenada’s Minister for Health 🇬🇩, the Hon. Philip Telesford, who expressed deep appreciation for PAHO’s continued technical cooperation, noting that “PAHO’s support is substantial and transformative.”
