Sad to report that Carlo Bianconi couldn’t be saved after suffering a catastrophic injury at Ballinrobe. Fair sickener. Thoughts are with Jemma Justice who looked after him at Joseph’s and was very fond of him. 😔

@ariehkovler @Elle_Ham06 How is this conducive to educating children? I think it’s abuse.

@Elle_Ham06 These aren't quiet rooms. They're rooms with tiny booth desks where students have to sit in silence and stare at nothing, often for six or seven hours.

I hadn't heard of "isolation rooms" before as a routine school punishment but they sound terrible. I suspect GenX and millennials (like me) don't have much concept of strict school punishments. theguardian.com/education/arti…

When Stefano had his accident, Simon was there. When Stefano passed away, Simon was there. Racing Welfare, however, were nowhere to be seen or heard from. Thank you to the ones who recognize his importance!!

@ByChrisSmith Why does this continue to happen? Why? Stadium crowd control might not be simple, given the sheer number of people, but it is managed thousands of times a year safely. There are precedents and protocols.

@ByChrisSmith All I can hope is that people give the new government time. There is serious destruction in the Tory wake and fixing it will not be fast or easy.

Arguably the biggest winners of the night are the tactical voters. The anti-Tory vote has been incredibly efficiently distributed.
