@WindrushWasp It's nothing to do with the current PM, but he can resolve the mess Thatcher caused. Nationalise our services and invest in them.

@Mr_Blankname Yes, but at least it will be possible unlike, as 35 years have proven, the privatised model which cannot be tamed, despite its constantly broken promises that it can.

When do we stop describing water company shareholders that invest nothing but extract our cash and drive our companies into the ditch as 'investors' and start using the more accurate term, 'parasites'? @sally_finance Privatised water cost us £85billion and will cost us much more. Just saying as there is no other wsy to stop it right now

@WindrushWasp The Brexit referendum in 2016 cost £129m and about £180m now. There are better ways of spending the money. Public ownership of water should be part of any election manifesto but at least the petition will get Parliament talking.
