For that "crime" — for helping another person — several agents sprayed pepper spray directly into his face and then beat him until he lost consciousness. They struck him with a rifle butt while he was on his knees. Both hands on the ground. He did not resist. They took his firearm from the holster on his back — he never touched it, but he had a legal permit to carry. And then they shot him. After he was already dead, they fired nine more shots into him. Nine. I want you to picture this: a man on the ground, motionless — and nine more bullets.

In response to Federal agents killing another person in Minnesota, I have requested a meeting with the President of the United States and demanded that his Administration immediately withdraw ICE agents from Maine. My statement:

2/ "Finally, one agent agreed to let me assess the victim. ... I was confused as to why the victim was on his side, because that is not standard practice when a victim has been shot. Checking for a pulse and administering CPR is standard practice. Instead of doing either of those things, the ICE agents appeared to be counting his bullet wounds."

WOW on Pretti's denial of medical treatment "I informed the ICE agents that I am a physician, and I asked to assess the victim. At first, the ICE agents wouldn't let me through ... But none of the ICE agents ... were performing CPR...None of the agents were helping him."

It can happen to your family. It will happen to thousands and thousands of families. Unless we stop them.

So very angry right now. I saw an agent walk away with a gun and afterwards, they shot and killed 37 year old VA ICU nurse Alex Jeffrey Pretti in cold blood. I have seen many videos, from many angles from many observers and not once did I see Alex behave violently or have a gun in his hands. Noem needs to be impeached and she along with all agents involved in this homicide need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. ICE must be dismantled before these shootings escalate.

It appears the shooter saw another agent remove the gun from Alex’s waistband, waited for that agent to clear, then shot Alex in the back. I don't see a defense for this.
