Floor crossing without a by-election is a slap in the face to voters. People do not vote only for a name. They vote for a party, a platform, and a set of principles. So when an MP gets elected under one banner and then switches sides after the votes are counted, that is not some noble act of courage. It is a bait-and-switch. If you truly believe your new party is the right choice, then have the guts to resign and run again under that banner. Let your constituents decide. That is what democratic accountability looks like. What makes it worse is the arrogance. These politicians act like voters should just accept it, as if the people who put them there are an afterthought. In many cases, even their own local association is left in the dark. That tells you this is not about serving the public. It is about serving themselves. The media often treats this like clever strategy. It is not. It chips away at trust in the system. And once people start believing their vote can be repackaged after election day, cynicism takes over fast. My view is simple. If you cross the floor, face the voters. If you will not do that, do not talk to me about principle. That is not democracy. That is political convenience.

The Liberals and MSM are doing everything in their power to undermine Pierre Poilievre's leadership because they know he's effective. Don't let them demoralize you or make you lose faith in Pierre. He's the only leader who can win us the next election and has my full support.
