Then she fell silent. She was gone. The kidnappe£rs later took us to another location under a palm tree, where they also k!ll£d the 15-year-old boy. We spent the night there before being moved again through forests, borrow pits, and across roads. Eventually, my family paid ₦11 million for my release. Even then, the kidnapp£rs demanded food items, drinks, school bags, power banks, and other supplies before letting us go. This is the nightmare thousands of Nigerians are facing today. Families are being destroyed, innocent lives are being taken, and entire communities are living in fear. How many more lives must be shattered before insecurity becomes the nation's top priority?"

Children are being abducted. Communities are living in fear.
