On its second day in Milan, Prada Frames continues its annual symposium curated by design and research studio Formafantasma, held in parallel with Salone del Mobile. The installment explores image-making, shaped by the immateriality of contemporary culture and its preference for representation over facts. In the complex of Santa Maria delle Grazie, day two brought together Deborah Willis, Gideon Mendel in conversation with Natalia Grabowska, Hania Rani in conversation with Natalia Grabowska; Anouchka Grose, Joanna Piotrowska in conversation with Anouchka Grose, Sharon Sliwinski; Joanna Zylinska and Wendy Hui Kyong Chun, with all sessions introduced by Alice Rawsthorn. During the day, performative reading visits invited participants to engage directly with both the architectural setting and the thematic framework of the symposium.
