During my year of service, I had the privilege of visiting Arua and inducting two young ladies, Sophie and Flavia, into the Rotaract Club of Arua. At the time, they were simply eager young members, ready to learn and ready to serve. There was nothing extraordinary about the moment on the outside, just a simple induction. But looking back now, it means so much more. Recently, at the Northern Mega Fellowship, they came up to me for another photo. It was a quiet reminder of how time passes and how service shapes us. What began as a small step into Rotary has grown into something beautiful. Today, I humbly congratulate Sophie as she prepares to serve as President of the Rotaract Club of Arua for the Rotary year 2026/27. I am grateful to have witnessed even a small part of her journey. And to Flavia, thank you for continuing the path of service with dedication and grace. Moments like these remind me that leadership is not about positions, but about growth, mentorship and staying true to the call to serve. On September 20th, I paid a courtesy visit to the Rotaract Club of Muni University. The club received its charter certificate while I was already in the northern cluster, so this visit was an opportunity to officially connect with them and appreciate their progress. Together, we planted three trees to launch their tree-growing project, a strong symbol of growth, sustainability, and commitment to environmental action. I was impressed by the club’s energy and passion for service. I encouraged members to deepen their #Rotary knowledge and focus on executing their plans with purpose. It was also pleasing to learn that the university administration supports their initiatives, giving them a great platform to be visible and impactful within the campus. As they prepare to officially celebrate their charter, I wish them an inspiring journey of Service Above Self. #RotaryEyamba
