I was on News Night with Abby Phillip 2 months ago with Mike Lawler and during the commercial break he said he wouldn't support more than $500 billion in Medicaid cuts. With lots of bravado he said more than $500 billion in cuts wouldn't happen because he wouldn't support it. He said it to all of us.
Then a few short weeks later he voted for $800 billion in cuts to Medicaid.
And now he seems about to vote for $1 trillion which will devastate health care in NY and his district.
Gotta say - not a lot of honor in this guy who talks big and then caves to his cult king.

Governor @KathyHochul is the single most incompetent, feckless, failed Governor in the country. Under her watch, New York leads the nation in outmigration, has the highest tax burden, the worst business climate, and a declining quality of life due to crime and the migrant crisis. In addition, she has increased state spending by over $100B in 10 years! Now, she is advocating for the single largest tax increase in American history — she opposes lifting the cap on SALT, no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, the enhanced child tax credit, the doubling of the standard deduction, no tax on Social Security, and all the business tax credits — AND she opposes securing our border, strengthening our military, and increasing domestic production of energy. Worse, she continues to advocate for illegal immigrants to get taxpayer funded health benefits — taking away Medicaid benefits from the most vulnerable. All the while, she is taking away Medicaid benefits from NYers with her CDPAP “reforms”… Kathy Hochul is a complete disaster and will be defeated in 2026.

To kill America’s clean energy
Projects will shut down, 840K jobs will be lost, and Americans will pay hundreds more a year on electricity
All because the GOP is beholden to the fossil fuel industry
