TRUMP: "Other people wouldn't have done what he did... He never sat, he never rested. He just kept going." President Trump celebrates Teddy Roosevelt's legendary endurance, praising the former president for pushing through severe illness when many believed he wouldn't survive. "As America turns 250 years old, we look at this remarkable man. And we recall that with effort, determination and drive, there is nothing that Americans of competence cannot do. Nothing."

President Trump says the U.S. never should have handed over the Panama Canal, warning that China is now trying to take control of the strategic waterway. "We're not going to let that happen." Speaking at the dedication of the Roosevelt Presidential Library, Trump criticized Panama for repeatedly raising canal transit fees while continuing to collect massive revenues and vowed the United States would not allow China to gain influence over the canal. "And that was not part of the script..." Trump joked after going off on the issue.

Trump then thanked the crowd, noting he won North Dakota with the most votes of any presidential candidate in the state's history. "I'm back in North Dakota because I won this state with the most votes in the history of the presidency. Thank you very much!"

President Trump and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum cut the ribbon to officially open the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in North Dakota. During the ceremony, Theodore Roosevelt's Medal of Honor was presented alongside Congressional Medal of Honor Society President Britt Slabinski. The medal will remain on display at the library as part of its tribute to the 26th president. Roosevelt and his son, Theodore Roosevelt Jr., are the only father-son pair to both receive the Medal of Honor, and this marked the first time the two medals were displayed together.

Love was literally in the air. Two masked climbers scaled the Empire State Building's transmission tower, unfurling a banner reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace" ... and then appeared to get engaged at the very top. Following a response of roughly 40 officers from the NYPD, the pair appeared to take down the banner and climb down to a lower platform. It is unclear how the couple were able to scale the building.
