Stronger skills and better healthcare systems are crucial for long-term economic and social stability. We are supporting Cambodia through two projects: 📌 Education for Green & Digital Jobs – Cambodia needs skilled workers to adapt to industrial and technological shifts. This project trains specialists in green energy and digital skills, supporting sustainable development and integration into global markets. 📌 One Health Initiative – Pandemics and food safety risks do not stop at borders. Strengthening digital health systems, laboratory services, and vaccination programs ensures better preparedness and regional cooperation.

As Europe, we 🇪🇺 account for roughly 16 percent of global GDP, but provide 42 percent of the world’s Official development assistance. That’s a substantial contribution - and one we should leverage more effectively to reflect both our values and interests. Today at the FAC Development, I emphasized the need for close collaboration with Member States to ensure that our development policies are effectively coordinated and aligned with our external policy. It is clear that we must strengthen our Team Europe approach while also developing robust Team Nationals - such as Team Poland, Team Finland, and Team Czechia - to maximize our collective impact. I aim to strengthen these Teams National with proper assistance.
