I imagine your parents wept with joy. I imagine engineering legends like Tesla and Edison crossed your mind. I imagine “I’ll change the world like they did.” Has been in your mind as an engineer. Then fate handed you exactly that chance. The KeNHA board said you’re the one. So here’s my moral question to you. Your contractor on Chiromo Road to Westlands roundabout scraped the old tarmac, laid new road, then stopped DEAD at his contract boundary. And Didn’t cross ONE inch past it. They left a 4 meter unrepaired ditch right at the Westlands roundabout joining road that they dugout themselves. Let me show you what 4 meters means: 4 lanes × 3.5m × 4m = 56m² 56 square meters is holding all of Westlands hostage daily. A deliberate move so the contractor can pressure KeNHA for more contract miles. Meanwhile innocent kenyan taxpayers pay with their time, fuel and sanity every single day. I won’t call you corrupt. No. But I will call you inept. And I will call this moral bankruptcy. UoN made you an engineer. KeNHA made you DG. You have to make you decent, decent enough to know this is wrong and unacceptable. And before you imagine I was sent by Wamunyoro or anyone else, I wasn’t. I’m just a decent citizen who believes if I sat in your chair, I wouldn’t let this stand. Moral citizenry costs nothing.
