Spoke with my dear brother, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Türkiye, this evening and conveyed warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to him, his family, and the brotherly people of Türkiye. During our most cordial exchange, we discussed the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East. I strongly condemned the attacks on our brotherly country Turkiye as well as other brotherly countries in the region. I reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast solidarity with Turkiye as well as with other brotherly Gulf countries, and conveyed our readiness to support efforts aimed at de-escalation and dialogue. We urged maximum restraint and stressed upon the need for resolving differences through dialogue and diplomacy. We also exchanged views on the situation in Afghanistan and I acknowledged Türkiye’s constructive role in supporting peace efforts, between Pakistan and Afghanistan, particularly its contribution towards the recent temporary ceasefire during Eid days. We also expressed satisfaction on the positive momentum in our bilateral cooperation across all spheres of mutual interest. @RTErdogan

گفتگوی تلفنی وزیر امور خارجه با وزرای امور خارجه #ترکیه، #مصر و #پاکستان سیدعباس عراقچی وزیر امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی ایران، در تماس‌های تلفنی جداگانه با وزرای امور خارجه ترکیه، مصر و پاکستان، در خصوص آخرین تحولات منطقه در پرتوی تداوم تجاوز نظامی آمریکا و رژیم صهیونیستی علیه ایران و آثار و پیامدهای منطقه‌ای و حهانی آن گفتگو و تبادل نظر کرد. وزیر امور خارجه کشورمان در این گفتگوها، حمله آمریکا و رژیم صهیونیستی به زیرساخت‌های ایران را اقدامی در راستای تشدید تنش و بی‌ثبات‌سازی منطقه ارزیابی کرد و بر ضرورت هوشیاری و هماهنگی کشورهای منطقه در قبال این تهدیدات تاکید کرد. عراقچی با اشاره به پیامدهای خطرناک رفتارهای بی‌پروا و تروریستی آمریکا و رژیم اسرائیل، تأکید کرد جمهوری اسلامی ایران در دفاع از حاکمیت ملی و امنیت شهروندان خود، از هیچ تلاشی فروگذار نخواهد کرد.

We strongly reject Afghan Taliban propaganda. Pakistan’s actions have been precise, targeting terrorist infrastructure, facilitators, and the fitna al Khawarij involved in attacks inside Pakistan. It is concerning that UNAMA relies on unverified Taliban claims. Pakistan will continue to act decisively to protect its people.

Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50 spoke last evening with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan @HakanFidan. They discussed the evolving regional situation and expressed serious concern over the rising tensions. DPM/FM underscored the urgent need for de-escalation and emphasised that constructive dialogue and diplomacy remain the only effective means to resolve issues and promote peace and stability in the region.

I am extremely grateful to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran for extending full facilitation to Pakistan’s trade to Iran- as well as transit trade through Iran- during challenging times . The land borders between Pakistan and Iran are working optimally and Green Channels at various border points are functional supporting swift movement of commodities on both sides. Pakistan is also extending best possible cooperation to *Tehran* to ensure that our trade remains unaffected by ongoing developments. The issues of congestion are also being addressed through mutual efforts . The Embassy is in touch with both the official and the private stakeholders- in Pakistan & in Iran- for immediate trade facilitation.

They exchanged views on the latest developments in the ongoing regional situation and its broader implications. DPM/FM emphasized the importance of diplomatic engagement, dialogue, and sustained efforts to promote peace, stability, and security in the region.

✅Operation Ghazb-lil-Haq ✅Update 1600 hours 15 March ✅Summary of Fitna Al Khawarij / Afghan Taliban losses ▪️684 Killed, ▪️912+ Injured ▪️252 Posts destroyed ▪️44 Posts captured and destroyed ▪️229 tanks, armoured vehicles, artillery guns destroyed ▪️73 terrorists and terrorist support infrastructure locations across Afghanistan effectively targeted by air ✅ On night March 14/15 Pakistan Armed Forces targeted military installations including terrorist hideouts of Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij. ✅ In these attacks, Pakistan's forces also destroyed technical support infrastructure and equipment storage facility, in Kandahar, that was being used by Afghan Taliban and terrorists against innocent Pakistani civilians. ✅ A tunnel that housed technical equipment of Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij was also destroyed in Kandahar. ✅ Similarly, in Chitral Sector, a terrorist jump of point at Badini Post of Afghanistan was destroyed through ground forces. ✅ Attached video shows precision engagement by Pakistan on those installations and terrorist camps which directly / indirectly support terrorism from Afghan soil. No civilian population or infrastructure was targeted as falsely propagated by Afghan regime officials and media.

They expressed deep concern over the evolving situation in the Middle East and its consequences for the region and beyond. Both leaders stressed the need for de-escalation, respect for international law, and a return to dialogue and diplomacy to resolve all issues. They also discussed the Pakistan–Afghanistan situation. FM @EspenBarthEide conveyed condolences over the loss of lives in the Islamabad mosque terrorist attack, and both leaders condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. They agreed to remain in close contact on bilateral and other matters of mutual interest. @NorwayMFA

President Zardari has approved the appointment of Mr Nihal Hashmi as Governor Sindh, acting on the advice of PM under Articles 48 & 101 of Pakistan’s Constitution. The Commission of Appointment has been signed. He will take oath before the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court.
