𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢 - 𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 ⭐️🇮🇪 Another excellent display from Millenic Alli last night as Portsmouth secured a huge 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town in the Championship. The winger was outstanding down the left for the full 90 minutes on his return to the starting XI after a couple of weeks being used from the bench. His pace, power and relentless work rate caused problems all night and he was unlucky not to score a stunning goal in the first half. Irish centre-half Conor Shaughnessy opened the scoring for Pompey in what was a massive win that moves Portsmouth four points clear of Oxford in the relegation zone. A disappointing night for the Irish contingent at Ipswich, who now sit three points above Middlesbrough and two ahead of Millwall, with a huge clash against Boro coming this weekend.

A massive goal in the context of the season - a win tonight would be huge for Portsmouth’s survival hopes, while it could be a big blow to Ipswich’s push to cement second place in the Championship.

Jaze Kabia on the scoresheet again! 🇮🇪 The Irish forward has bagged his 19th goal of the season for Grimsby Town, pulling them back into the game against Chesterfield. It’s Kabia’s 14th goal in League Two this campaign, with the goal set up by fellow Irishman Reece Staunton.

Johnny Kenny is at it again! 🇮🇪⚪️ The striker has just bagged a lovely finish for Bolton Wanderers, making it three goals in his last three games. A massive goal in Bolton’s playoff push, putting them 2-0 up against Stevenage and on course for another crucial three points. It’s Kenny’s fourth goal for the club already and you’d imagine there are plenty more to come.
