SCAM ALERT: FAKE FEDERAL COURT DOCUMENTS The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public about a recent fraud attempt involving fake legal documents sent by email. A concerned citizen reported receiving an email containing what appears to be an official federal court document claiming they had failed to appear in court and must post bail through a Sheriff’s Office to avoid arrest. Let’s be clear, this is a scam. These documents are NOT legitimate and contain multiple red flags: • Poor grammar and misspellings throughout the document • Vague or incorrect agency names and case information • Instructions to pay “preemptive bail” before any arrest • Pressure tactics designed to create fear and urgency Law enforcement and the courts do not operate this way. You will never be asked to pay bail or fines through email, and official court actions are not handled through unsolicited messages. What you should do: • Do not respond to the email • Do not send money or provide personal information • Report the incident to your local law enforcement agency • Delete the message If you receive something like this and are unsure, call us directly before taking any action. Concerning the tornado warning last night for Maury and Williamson Counties...NWS survey today found a tornado track with EF-1 damage. The tornado lifted just before reaching Spring Hill and crossing into Williamson County. Thing got close, y'all. partnerservices.nws.noaa.gov/products/cache…

9:38PM: This line of thunderstorms is producing damaging winds as it makes its way east. And a Tornado Warning is in effect for northern Montgomery County! Be sure to heed any warnings, and let us know if you get any damage.

As expected, a Wind Advisory will go into effect at 1 pm Sunday and expire at 1 am Monday. Gusts to 40 mph are expected outside of the storms. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

No changes to the forecast this morning. Sunday night, a strong cold front will barrel through here with local wind gusts to 75 mph possible in the line of storms. The threat of embedded tornadoes exists, but is lower than the damaging wind threat. *Currently* targeting the 8-11 pm range for this line. Outside the storms, winds will be gusty with gusts to 40 mph.

🚨#BREAKING: Hundreds of people have just shown up to the funeral of the veteran with no known relatives in Nashville TN. The public was invited to attend to ensure the veteran was honored and not laid to rest alone. Hundreds came. Absolutely beautiful.
