Tory Lord Bamford who still owes HMRC £500,000,000+ in unpaid taxes, gave Nigel Farage a £8,000 helicopter flight for free. This is how it works, they pay pennies to save billions.

This article says climate change is “believed to have played a role” in the UK's extreme heat this week. As a climate scientist, let me fact-check that. First, climate change is not a religion. No belief is required. It is about evidence. And the evidence has been crystal clear for more than two decades: climate change is making heat waves hotter, longer, more frequent and more dangerous. In fact, science has advanced far beyond saying climate change merely “played a role.” Today, we can quantify how much more likely and how much hotter climate change made a specific event. Here's the bottom line: Climate is changing. Humans are responsible. And we are experiencing the impacts now. That’s the bad news. The good news is that solutions already exist, and the majority of people care - 89%, around the world! But meaningful action depends on helping people understand not just what is happening: we need to know how it affects our lives (this heat wave being example A today) and what we can do about it. That’s the opportunity this reporting missed. bbc.com/news/articles/…

There are 9760 hours in a year, I learned that in the energy business (coz energy is traded every half hours, relentlessly. Sewage is also being dumped in our rivers relentlessly - this 10k hours is from just 10% of outflow pipes - the rest don’t haver monitors - that’s outrageous, the industry that forced us all to have water meters (not a bad thing) doesn’t have sewage dumping meters….how on earth can there be any control of what they do? There can’t. This is the first place Keir Starmer should look for a bold change - the biggest disaster of Tory privatisation - we sold our vital water infrastructure and every year since it’s put up our bills, failed to invest and syphoned billions out of our economy, often to tax havens. We need to regulate them till the pips squeak, end the rip off and river dumping - and stand ready to take our water system back into public ownership, run by us for us. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/05/2…

If you were wondering why Richard Tice is being held back from TV appearances, just look at his response to tax experts criticising the overtime tax policy. Woefully out of his depth. Embarrassingly so.

Reform’s Makerfield candidate called abortion cowardly murder, said women can’t ref, drive or give directions, and endorsed sexually explicit posts about Carol Vorderman. Reform called it locker room banter. Donald Trump said the same thing in 2016.

Supermarkets are happy enough for taxpayers to subsidise their low-paid workforce with in-work benefits so they can pay their bosses seven-figure salaries. But ask them even to consider voluntary price caps on basic foods and they'll slam the idea as 'preposterous'.

The facade is cracking quicker than Anderson's mirror - the £5million - multiple excuses - the "1million and legal action - silence - the £1.4million house purchase - stories that do not seem to match the financial accounts - the hacked by Russians - no proof , just Reform's word and seemingly not appropriately reported to the various security agencies - the desperate Malerfield candidate vole and exposing vetting failure - could there be more to it though - word was the party wanted a 'celeb' candidate, a face to take on Burnham - then all of a sudden , without the 'special announcement' that was actually announced the plumber was announced and Dr David Bull mysteriously leaves the Party - to top it off Farage then disappears from view for a fortnight except for a pop i to Parliament for the Kings speech, a recorded video with the Sun and the farce of the man in a van video's with the plumber. - No 'launch' of the byelection, no media interviews - just avoidance and silence Now confected outrage - by tweet or news article about Restore and the Reform belief that they are the chosen ones and all others should stand aside The wheels are off the bus and Farage is hiding

Farage concealed the £5 million 'gift' from the British public. This man who poses as a potential PM decided that the British people didn't deserve to know about this 'gift' from an offshore billionaire. It doesn't matter what the rules are. The British public have every right to know about very large payments to politicians. That Farage saw fit to conceal the payment shows his complete contempt for the British people. And that contempt alone makes him unfit to be an MP, let alone a PM.

Nigel Farage is a one trick pony. His divisive and inflammatory comments about immigration is all he has. Is it any wonder he won’t want you to know that net migration has fallen by 82% since its peak under the conservatives and small boat crossings are down by approximately 40% so far in 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. LETS MAKE SURE THE PUBLIC KNOW THE REAL FACTS
Peter Stefanovic@PeterStefanovi2

🚨DESPITE NET MIGRATION HAVING FALLEN BY 82% SINCE ITS PEAK NEARLY HALF OF BRITONS INCORRECTLY BELIEVE ITS ACTUALLY INCREASED! Politicians have now been blamed for skewing the public's understanding of immigration levels. This is a shocking indictment of the abject failure of UK news shows to get the actual facts about net migration across to the public and call out the bull**** by the likes of Nigel Farage. If UK news shows can’t get the job done let’s damn well do it ourselves!

While publicly positioning itself as having ceased all involvement, JCB quietly continued honoring contracts in Russia. A multi billion pound company lying, and huge Tory donors…Why are the Tories always involved in shit like this 🙄🤥 #JCB
Caroline Lucas@CarolineLucas

Looks like JCB lied and kept trading with Russia after all. How can the Tories possibly think it's ok to accept donations from them? It's blood money pure and simple - and Sunak must do the right thing & give it back. theguardian.com/business/artic…

The facts on Immigration stand in stark contrast to the picture Reform paints. It was out of control, peaking at nearly one million in 2023 under the Tories, many of whom are now in Reform - but since Labour won the election it is very much under control - dropping nearly 80% last year to under 200k, the lowest rate since the world shut down in 2020….And the number of asylum seekers in hotels is down 30%. But most people still believe the claim that immigration is out of control. The truth is in the numbers - not in what Reform says. And not just on immigration. bbc.co.uk/news/live/cvgz…

While arguing that Next can't afford to pay 16-24 year olds the minimum wage, CEO Lord Wolfson forgot to say that for the fiscal year ending January 2026, Next reported an operating profit of £1.236 billion, marking a 13.4% increase from the previous year. #r4today

Reform has lost 26 officials in nineteen days since the local elections. A suspended councillor described his own Reform group as like Mussolini’s government. In Cornwall, Reform has lost a quarter of its elected councillors since May 2025. Farage says they have the best vetting in Britain. Evidently not.

Some notes on my work ethic: -I last voted in Parliament on 18 March, so I haven’t done my job for ten weeks. -I’ve never held any face-to-face constituency surgeries, despite apparently having £5 million to spend on security. -I refuse to do interviews or face press scrutiny of any sort. -when I was in the European Parliament I had the 4th worst attendance record out of 748 MEPs. -although I did manage to turn up to vote AGAINST plans to tackle Russian misinformation. -I was on the Fisheries Committee but I only turned up to ONE out of 42 meetings. -but I will of course be taking my £73,000 EU pension. Vote Reform, get lazy, grifting, self-serving sacks of shit.

Farage is taking political donations into new territory and to new levels. The influence of big money in UK politics can no longer be ignored. Wealthy people, big business, and foreign-linked money are finding new ways into the system - from companies to cryptocurrency. The danger is clear: politicians make decisions based on the interests of their donors, not the country. Rather than play political whack-a-mole trying to close the latest loophole in donations - crypto being the very latest - we should deal with the root problem. A complete ban on political donations is simple, clear and enduring. No donations means no loopholes. And no influence. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…
