@BuzzPatterson I think they died coming back to Arkansas. I remember people held onto the tickets. My first show was also in Arkansas, Blue Oyster Cult opening for Rush 2112. 1977? Pine Bluff.

My first concert ever. Barton Coliseum, Little Rock, Arkansas, 1974. My senior year at Jacksonville High School. I went with my best friend, Gaylen Burnside. We loved it so much, we drove up to Fayetteville, AR, the next night for their show there! Badass Southern boys who could rock! Lynyrd Skynyrd.🇺🇸🔥

Monthly reminder that Franco was a Centrist and a Hero and the only reason Spain was not a part of the USSR. That Spaniards do not revere him is proof that they have a deep soul sickness.

Europeans would need to completely change their social/political/economic/metaphysical outlook on the world in order to do this. It’s not that they couldn’t, but they’d have to embrace some of the pre-WW 2 energy to secure energy and resources, have kids again to have a real work forces, be competitive in the global market to build an economic engine to do so, and actually have the fighting spirit. If they made this switch, they could likely be militarily self-sufficient within a decade or two. And they’d be formidable. They already have the technological base and the beginnings of the industrial base.

The feats of famous conquistadors like Cortez, Pizarro and Alvarado sound so insane, because what do you mean they conquered a literal empire with 300 men, 20 horses, 4 cannons and a cross? The indomitable European spirit to explore and conquer...

Pizarro conquered Peru with 168 men (about 62 on horseback, some arquebuses and crossbows) plus a few indigenous auxiliaries. They faced an Inca army estimated at 80,000 led by Emperor Atahualpa himself. 7,000+ killed in hours, with zero Spanish fatalities He was Illiterate.
