Husband's job change: Conan Harris (Ayanna Pressley's husband) resigned from his $92,500-a-year position as a senior public safety adviser in Boston Mayor Martin Walsh's administration three days before Pressley was sworn into Congress in January 2019. He immediately launched his own management consulting firm, Conan Harris & Associates. Financial disclosures: Pressley's pre-Congress net worth (around 2018) was reported as low or negative (roughly -$12,500 in some summaries, or about $12,500 in assets). By 2024 disclosures, her reported assets reached up to $8 million (with significant debt/liabilities also noted, including multiple mortgages potentially up to $9 million in some estimates).
