🚨 NBA’s Clear Double Standard: Stars Who Committed Serious Crimes… But Kept Playing 🔥
While Jaden Ivey was waived by the Chicago Bulls for preaching Jesus Christ and standing against “unrighteousness” during Pride Month (no crime committed, just faith-based convictions)…
Here are NBA players who faced real criminal issues — felonies, arrests, guns, violence — yet faced minimal or no release and continued their careers:
Montrezl Harrell (2022)
- Arrested with nearly 3 pounds of marijuana in his car.
- Charged with felony drug trafficking (up to 5 years possible).
- No NBA suspension. No punishment from the Charlotte Hornets.
- Charge later reduced to misdemeanor; he kept playing uninterrupted.
Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies Star)
- Multiple incidents of brandishing a gun on Instagram Live (strip club in March 2023, another in a car in May 2023).
- No criminal charges filed, but clear reckless behavior with firearms.
- NBA suspended him 8 games first time, then 25 games the second — he returned and continued his high-profile career with the Grizzlies. No release.
Other Notable Examples
- Miles Bridges — Domestic violence charges involving serious allegations; faced a 30-game suspension but returned to the Charlotte Hornets and kept playing.
- Kevin Porter Jr. — Arrested for felony assault and strangulation (girlfriend suffered fractured vertebrae and other injuries); faced significant consequences but patterns show the league often gives chances after legal issues.
- Historical cases like Gilbert Arenas (guns in locker room) received long suspensions but many players with DUIs, assaults, gun charges, or drug issues received light discipline and stayed on rosters.
Make it make sense, NBA.
Felony drug trafficking? Play on.
Waving guns on social media? Multi-game suspension but keep the bag and roster spot.
Domestic violence or assault arrests? Often return after sitting out.
But boldly standing for Christian faith and calling out league-promoted values? Immediate waiver for “conduct detrimental to the team.”
The league shows far more tolerance for actual legal trouble and reckless behavior than for off-court speech or traditional beliefs that don’t align with its messaging.
This isn’t just basketball — it’s about whose values get protected.
Priorities are completely backwards. The double standard is impossible to ignore.
What do you think? Should real crimes get more leniency than simply expressing faith? Drop your take below 👇

He can retire on that. Exposed evil and still secured the bag. God is good.

Jaden Ivey is the NBA player who was released after speaking against LGBTQ “pride.”
NBA players can kneel for the flag.
Promote degeneracy.
Beat their girlfriends and wives.
But none will receive the persecution that Jaden Ivey has.
Jaden Ivey was right though.
“Pride” is not a civil rights movement, it is a deviant sexual enterprise seeking to erase the line between childhood and adulthood.
Cultural subversion is being packaged in a rainbow, and children should not be exposed to it.
Elect me to Congress and I will fight to abolish PRIDE month and send the entire sexual mafia back to the dark corners of the earth—sex is private and for adults only.
Protect our children.
Protect our families.
