Christoper Nolan studied English literature Wes Anderson studied philosophy Brad Pitt never attended film school, instead began as a background actor Steven Spielberg was rejected from MULTIPLE film schools, and only got into the medium through a local studio in his hometown. A degree doesn’t mean anything if you’re passionate. Keep following your dreams! 💞

Took 32 years to figure out how to regulate my nervous system but now I religously sleep for 8 hours every night and it's the best god daaaam feeling. Get proper sleep 😭 gaming all night isn't worth it.

In 2022, Chris Hemsworth took a blood test on camera. It told him his brain was 8 to 10 times more likely to develop Alzheimer's than the average person's. He was 39. What he did next rewrote the next 30 years of his life...

SOLO DATES YOU SHOULD TRY ATLEAST ONCE IN A YEAR 1. Take yourself to the cinema alone. Buy popcorn and whatever snack you enjoy while seeing a movie. Pick the seat you actually like. Laugh, cry if you need to. No one talking to you, just you and the movie.

Your belly has two kinds of fat, and your body treats them like enemies. One gets burned off fast. The other is almost locked in place. And the one you can see in the mirror, the soft bit hanging over your waistband, is the locked kind. Fat cells carry two types of switches on their surface, and this is where fat loss really gets decided. I call them brakes and gas pedals. Brakes keep the fat locked in the cell. Gas pedals release it into your bloodstream so your body can burn it for energy. The ratio of brakes to gas pedals isn't the same everywhere on you, and that changing ratio decides which parts of your body slim down fast and which ones stay stuck. Face, arms, shoulders, chest. Mostly gas pedals. So when you eat less, those areas give up fat fast. This is why your face thins out first, usually within a few weeks. Your lower belly is the reverse. Brakes everywhere, barely any gas pedals. And it gets less blood flow than the rest of you, which means fewer delivery trucks to haul fat out even when a cell does manage to release some. The result is a pocket of fat your body refuses to touch until it has burned through almost everything else. Deeper inside your abdomen, behind your abs, there's another layer of fat entirely. This one wraps around your liver, stomach, and intestines. Completely different animal. It has way more gas pedals, much more blood flow, and when adrenaline hits, it releases fat over 10 times more readily than the soft pinchable kind. In one weight-loss study, people who lost about 24 pounds total burned off 25% of this deep fat but only 16% of the soft layer sitting on top of it. So the dangerous fat goes first. The visible fat goes last. Your body is guarding the exact pouch you most want to lose. Now add stress. The deep belly fat is covered in cortisol receptors, roughly 4 times more than the pinchable fat. Cortisol is your stress hormone. Every rough week, every night of bad sleep, your body gets a signal to send fat straight to your gut. A 1997 study out of the University of Chicago showed that even one shortened night of sleep raises your cortisol the next day. And the deep belly fat carries its own enzyme that brews up extra cortisol right inside the tissue. Your belly fat is literally making the hormone that put it there. Women get the worst end of this. Female fat in the hips, thighs, and lower belly has 9 to 10 times more brakes than men have in those places. That extra braking is why those areas often shrink last, sometimes by a very long margin. Rough timeline. Face fat starts moving in 2 to 4 weeks. Arms and chest, around 4 to 6. Lower belly often takes 8 to 12 weeks of steady eating under your calorie budget just to begin showing a real change. Your bro is not wrong about any of this. The whole system is wired to protect that exact part of your body.

Losing face fat and other fats in your body is easy but when it comes to belly fat bro that shit the hardest to loose

You only have to get jacked once. Build muscle and your body adds permanent myonuclei to those fibers; That’s cellular machinery that doesn’t disappear when you stop training. Studies show these nuclei stick around for 15+ years; Possibly forever. Muscle memory is maxed out for 20 weeks after you take a break from lifting. In that period… It literally takes ~5 lifting sessions to get back to your best form. Losing your gains is a fallacy; You’d have to intentionally quit the gym or lose your desire to maintain a great physique to really “fall off”… Get jacked once. Then coast on that biology for the rest of your life…
