So if you've been struggling to lose weight, by all means, consider a GLP-1. But don't stop there... Use it to jumpstart your lifestyle change & focus on long term behavior change for lasting results My team and I love helping people with this. If you are interested, comment 'COACHING' & I will DM you information on how to apply

Them: "I ate in a calorie deficit but didn't lose weight!" Also them: "I took a GLP-1 and finally lost the weight!" Who is going to tell them? Should I tell them????

The GLP-1 truly got you to reduce food intake, and that is why you lost weight... you were in a calorie deficit But these benefits are temporary unless you stay on GLP-1's indefinitely OR you use them to facilitate lifestyle change Again, the question is not GLP-1's vs. lifestyle change... it's how can we use GLP-1's to facilitate lifestyle change

There is evidence GLP-1's may also help with impulse control, inflammation, & insulin sensitivity (PMIDs: 40843757, 41178710, & 37874653) beyond the benefits gained from weight loss alone But when it comes to weight loss, GLP-1's work because they reduce energy intake, not energy expenditure So if you claim you didn't lose weight in a calorie deficit, but lost weight with a GLP-1... sorry, but no

@BioLayne What happens to thermodynamics in Type 1 diabetics when they consume 4,000+ cals per day but don't take their insulin?

BCAAs don't build muscle or increase MPS when total protein intake is sufficient. (PMID: 33537760, PMID: 36235655, PMID: 24620007, PMID: 37681443)

@jujithespoonie @kokeshimum nope, I think GLP-1's are great! But they work because people eat less. But I'm a big fan. They make dieting much more tolerable for tons of people!
