There is a lot of chatter about Rory’s practice rounds at ANGC prior to @TheMasters and how it was somehow unfair. There are perks to winning the Masters. Rory prioritized his preparation and good for him. He knows that history judges those by major victories.

Anyone who plays golf and knows golf knows that of course this is a HUGE advantage assuming that the option wasn’t open to all other players in the field. Not saying he shouldn’t have done it but could have very well been the difference in winning or losing woth the margins beings small. Took a miracle for him to win even WITH being at the course a bunch the weeks prior.
