MJC prez Sal Sinatra to @theTDN regarding GMax timing system: "I don't think GPS is exact enough. You have to be exact with time. It's frustrating. It's almost to the point now, if they don't change it soon I'm gonna have to not put times up after the race and use my hand timer"

Sinatra had this good news for bettors: he said The Jockey Club president Jim Gagliano confirmed that Equibase now plans to integrate "beam" times into its GMax GPS software. "Maybe the lengths will be a little off," he said. "I'm not sure, but at least times will be accurate."
