In honor of Frederick Douglass Elementary's (@FDEStars) 10-year anniversary, students celebrated the school’s legacy with songs performed by each grade level, along with a special song written when the school opened by music teacher, Mrs. Petrosky.

Today our stars used our @LEGO_Education Spike kits to demonstrate force and motion! They loved using their 5Cs to build and code their arctic ride with their teammates ⭐️ @FDEStars

Our first classroom chat was a huge success with Ms. Cunningham's kindergarten students at @FDEStars. @LCPSScience @SSGSlcps @PropelLevel

We had the best author visit with @beth_wxbooks today!! She read her book, “Harriet the Hurricane,” and talked about her experience as a meteorologist! 2nd grade made connections to our weather unit and asked so many amazing questions!! 🌀🌧💨 @FDEStars
