Such sad news. John was ever-present at Steinbarts. One of my fav spots in Portland. I’ll miss him.

The passing of a great. So many hands are responsible for Oregon’s incredible, unmatched beer scene, but some toil out of the spotlight. Both Widmer brothers started homebrewing with Steinbart’s, and they were just the start. Massive, massive loss. Rest In Peace.
