He owned and led WCW through its glory days, when it was consistently beating WWE, formerly WWF, in ratings. Under his leadership the NWO was founded, the rise of Sting & Goldberg 3. Most importantly, he created the Cartoon Network in 1992, the first 24 hour channel dedicated to cartoons which went on to make shows like Dexter’s Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, and much more Thanks Ted

In my early CN days when you used a company credit card you'd say "Uncle Ted's got this one". We still have a small hoard of Turner swag around the house, like this mug. RIP

Cartoon Network is probably the second or third most important thing to happen to American animation in the 90s & probably since the end of the golden age & Ted made it happen. Yeah he didn’t personally supervise it, but he created the platform for creativity & let it thrive. RIP
