Despite continued warnings from @BMAResidents competition ratios for doctors looking to get on specialty training programmes have soared again this year. Fresh data published by NHS England for 2025 shows a staggering 91,999 applications were made for 12,833 specialty training posts. Vaccines save lives and prevent disease. Doctors know this. Our patients benefit every day from vaccines. It is dangerous and irresponsible to promote pseudo-science or anti-science messages like this. Reform has to go further than just “not endorsing what he says”.
