@matt_mattweed Very needed. In the US, of course. But also for players in Europe. A few guys on the usmnt seem to be a charmed bunch. Big clubs, jersey sales. Not enough pressure.
We need a big middle class group fighting and scrapping week in, week out.

Dubious audience claim of the week: Fanatics Flag Football game generated "over 300 million views." It averaged 588,000 viewers on Fox; presumably, the working definition of "view" here is ≤ 1 second exposure on social (autoplay). They also counted ghosts/incorporeal beings.

The Christian church (non-catholic) in England dates back to the 2nd century and hopefully it is rediscovered.

The region (US in particular) has hosted so many tournaments over the last however many yrs - the wc doesn't feel special. Just another thing.
It'll make its money of course but it'll be like Copa America, where half the games will be half full with 500k viewership.
