Absolute comedy gold! Senator Bernie Sanders brilliantly mocks the billionaire class. He reveals a 5 percent wealth tax would cost Jeff Bezos 14 billion dollars, yet still leave him with a staggering 265 billion to survive. The establishment's greed is completely unhinged!

Senator Bernie Sanders drops a massive bombshell. He confirms a tiny 5 percent wealth tax on just 1000 billionaires would instantly provide a 12,000 dollar payment to ordinary families. He reveals the elite hoard. Wealth tax will be absolutely mandatory with upcoming AI era.

An MIT study shows 95% of companies that instituted AI say it is a failure. AI is a boondoggle. No one likes it. No one likes Waymo’s. No one likes help calls answered by bots. No one wants their finances, legal or medical handled by bots. AI will crash and burn. Shut it off!

We desperately need universal masking to be standard in health care. It is ridiculous that a critically ill patient has to be forced into conflict with nurses and other providers who don't feel like protecting them.

apparently there has been a shocking increase in covid infections at Trillium Hospital Mississauga & Etobicoke, and local pharmacies have been notified to begin covid shots again. Let people know who may have been at these hospitals or live in the area.

Let's never forget that 1000s of seniors died in LTC during covid. They died of mistreatment, starvation, dehydration & lonliness. @fordnation response was to make his government immune from being sued.

@alfwarrior @leanhealth Aerosol scientists have been trying to get thru your crew's thick skulls that the laws of physics are the same for every disease. 🧵👇 of evidence. FFS please get up to speed. And if you still can't grasp it, then my god, man, precautionary principle. x.com/beansprouts_mo…

1/ 🧵 Selected refs Droplet and close contact transmission = misunderstood aerosol (inhaled/ airborne/ 'through the air) transmission that occurs at close range (where concentration is high) or between 'close contacts' who've spent a lot of time sharing air e.g., in a household.

A family member has been dealing with intense health issues over the past year. Blood cancer, bone marrow transplant, and now significant complications. They were recently inpatient. Oncologist ordered masked and gloved care, sign on door. Still a struggle to get staff to comply

The fact that I now need to drive 3 hours round trip to get to the dentist for a filling because they are the only dentist in the area that I know of that actually implements any disease prevention protocols (masking etc.) is a great little example of disability tax and how everyday casual ableism makes disabled people’s lives harder. People could do better. Easily. They just choose not to

I try to stay as professional as possible on here, but the recent spate of tweets I've seen bemoaning that 'things just haven't been the same since 2020' or similar and then utterly ignoring the ongoing impact of SARS-CoV-2 infuriates me. Denial and ignorance in equal measure.

We’ve normalized collective disengagement. People spend hours glued to devices engineered to capture attention, yet completely tune out information that could materially reduce harm to themselves and others. And the professionals? Many are even worse. Credentialed, overconfident, socially conditioned, institutionally trapped, and disturbingly resistant to new evidence. The level of public health illiteracy surrounding airborne disease and aerosol science is honestly staggering.

I've been puzzling over this all day. Explain this to me like I'm stupid, because I just don't understand. Spain quarantined its hantavirus contacts *together*. And now one of them has tested positive, but they're *not* going to start the quarantine for the rest from zero?

This rushed & haphazard federal Labour Code review has the potential to blow up the whole ‘Team Canada’ approach to responding to Trump. The government must resist the opportunistic demands of employers to use this crisis as an excuse to strip away fundamental rights. #canlab

Don’t let the government hoodwink you. They absolutely owe you functioning systems, clean water, healthcare, security, housing, job opportunities, and basic human dignity. It is within their constitutional mandate; that is literally their core purpose and duty.

RESEARCH ROLLOUT! Announcing @CODA_research’s Multisystem Research Model for Complex Disorders, including Long COVID, ME/CFS, POTS/dysautonomia, EDS/HSD, MCAS, chronic pain, IBS, and related conditions. After an extensive review of the neuroimmune research landscape, CODA presents a multisystem research model built around 5 interconnected scientific domains that together represent some of the strongest emerging areas of investigation in complex chronic disease: • Neuroimmune Signaling • Immune Network Dysregulation • Viral & Microbial Persistence • CSF, Glymphatics, Cerebral & Venous Blood Flow • Structural Mechanics & Instability Together, these domains form the foundation of CODA’s growing neuroimmune research portfolio. CODA’s portfolio approach connects patients to the science that may matter most to them while advancing an integrated understanding of complex neuroimmune disease. 🧵 Read my full blog on CODA’s research & studies: bit.ly/42WoGiY

"I don't want to get or spread a virus that's already killed tens of millions and maimed hundreds of millions" should be a universal position that doesn't induce hostility. This society has already collapsed.

Imagine living in city that is privatizing public views by allowing developers to build towers in previously protected view corridors, does not allow citizens to speak at public hearings, & somehow has $14 million to spend on tickets to pro bro soccer games. Vancouver leadership.

“Cost optimization” should never determine whether the public learns the primary ways infectious diseases spread. Knowledge shapes behavior. Behavior shapes exposure. Exposure shapes outcomes. When institutions suppress, soften, or strategically omit information about airborne transmission because the implications are economically or politically inconvenient, they are shaping intervention efficacy before an intervention even begins. The public deserves accurate information about how pathogens move through air.
