Seeing a lot of D2 programs pitching housing credits and Pell grant money right now as “NIL $”… be careful. If it sounds like guaranteed money just for signing, ask questions. NIL should be tied to actual deals, not packaged financial aid. Do your homework before you commit.

I’ve said this many times and I’ll say it again. Coaches will tell you they want players who are loyal, players that deal with adversity, and players that don’t quit. Yet they go in the portal and defy everything they say and recruit exactly the opposite of those things.
