Exactly. The Partition of Bengal in 1905 made them paranoid. They only began opposing the British at that point because it threatened their economic interests in East Bengal. Rabindranath Tagore opposed the Partition out of fear of losing his zamindari in East Bengal. These Hindus were leeches.
