I’m hearing fans fearing that Movie #AmyRose in #SonicMovie4 might be interpreted like Movie Princess Peach or like Amy’s past iterations that aren’t used anymore.
Paramount’s writers & creative team aren’t amateurs, have made Sonic relevant again & done wonders with the characters. Writers Pat Casey & Josh Miller made it very clear in a past interview that they want to do justice to Amy’s character & establish her as “the big female character of the franchise.”
Clearly there’s a solid reason why the post credits ended with Movie Sonic being alone in the woods with Movie Amy. #Sonamy

As not only did Sonic 2 have quite a lot of game elements, but Sonic 3 also truly felt spiritually like Sonic Adventure 2. The movies are definitely moving in the direction of having more and more game elements each movie so I reckon it won't be long now until we see more

Sonic 2 (movie) had quite a lot of game elements which are so cool and well implemented. I'd like to see more of Sonic's world in the movies but I feel the point I've seen on here that "Sonic movies are afraid to have stuff from the game" is very exaggerated
