Catholic to Catholic: One thing I've noticed? Some of the most committed Catholics today are women who weren't even born Catholic. They married Catholic men, entered the Church out of love and curiosity, and took the faith seriously. They learned the prayers, studied the teachings, attended Mass faithfully, and embraced the sacramental life. Fast forward a few years, and they're the ones reminding their husbands about Holy Days of Obligation, encouraging Confession, organizing family prayers, and keeping the faith alive at home. It's funny how a woman can marry into the Church and end up carrying the torch brighter than the person who was born into it. Urm, quick question please to the Catholics on the timeline. Is going to confession every week too much?? I sin every single day of my life. I have sins I struggle with.. Jesus knows! One of them is impatience! And because this is my struggle, I go to confession every week. And also because I receive the Eucharist every morning at Mass. But for the first time, someone here is saying that going to confession every week is too much!😳 So I ask again, as a practising Catholic who doesn't want to go to hell or purgatory, is going to seek the face of God in the confessional every weekend, "too much?" @FrUgochukwu @frmarcellinus @gonefishin1948 (I'd have tagged more priests here but my brain is currently fried so i can't remember most of their handles because I'm shocked to hear that going to confession every week is too much).

Earlier today, in a separate enforcement operation, our team apprehended 22 beggars at Oshodi and Agege, comprising adults and a few teenagers.
