My take on Harry Potter boycotting is that I think if you bought HP stuff before JK Rowling’s transphobia was revealed, that’s fine, I’m not going to make you sell your childhood books. Just dont support financially directly NOW.

I keep posting bc it makes me unbelievably sad how tainted something that was such a big part of my childhood, my teenage years *and* my fandom experience has been. I grew up with Harry. But I'm an adult now, and I won't choose nostalgia over my support for the trans community.
