Bittersweet evening for me. Spent this summer campaign with a group of young men that made me a better person & coach. I cherished all the days with these boys. As basketball players, they took over the scene. They embraced the Hoop City culture and made year one a STATEMENT.

@HoopCitySD15U with an incredible performance against D1 Minnesota 15U Gold at @PrepHoops @NorthstarHoops State Tournament, beating them 66-19. @HoopCitySD15U shared the ball and were on fire from three and the field. Masterful defensive game as well. They will see @PulleyHoopsE15 tomorrow at 10:10 AM. Big game and huge test 👀 - @Jaseunzen30 looks special and is insanely bouncy. Was knocking down pull-up threes and jumpers. An elite passer as well — 11 points - @ConnorMebius can shoot the heck out of the ball. Very instinctive defensively — 12 points (4 threes) - @colbynuttbrock showing his bounce and using it to score going at the hoop, and is on-ball pressure defense on the perimeter stood out 📈 13 points - @BennettJ2027 popping 3’s and proving to be one of the best shooters in the state and 2027 class - @GrifinW_5 got going late in the 2nd half in the scoring department. Played smooth and hit an open three. Gets up high for boards @CollinWeier proving to be a valuable asset to the team. Defensively and hitting timely shots — 9 points @ElliotDeJong is an interior defender that is blocking shots and affecting the paint. @AustinDowd_20 plays tough and with great strength in the paint. Was tough to contain in the win versus Minneapolis Central Black. Plays hard @PrepHoopsDakota @DaksHoops @tate_martin11 @LaramieUnzen30 #NHRState
