Women and girls around the world spend a combined 250 million hours each day collecting water. This World Water Day, we’re focused on ensuring women and girls play a key role in water planning, management and decision-making.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has directed non-essential Australian officials and all dependents of Australian Officials to leave Lebanon. A small number of Australian officials remain in Lebanon to provide essential consular services. (1/2)

Overnight, Australian officials worked with our Canadian and New Zealand partners to safely transport citizens from Kuwait to Saudi Arabia so they can continue their journey home.
