If you thought the PM’s speech was punchy, his foreword to the immigration white paper says high net migration has done “incalculable damage” to the country. That is a serious shift in tone for a Labour government/party.

I did not stand on a manifesto which said we were going to make the NHS crisis worse. Neither did any other Labour MP.
This is only possible now because our leaders have stirred up a war frenzy, and all we cherish is being cut.

10 year old Saddam Rajab was on the phone to his mum while he walked down the street in the occupied West Bank when the IDF shot him. Israeli soldiers then obstructed the ambulance trying to take the boy to hospital. He subsequently died. Diana Magnay reporting.

This is depraved. The US government has just announced they will be punishing anyone involved in Cuba’s famous overseas medical missions, including government officials in foreign countries whose people have benefited from Cuban medical assistance.
