@TajSoheil We will block your email so it will not receive any more emails. In the footer of our emails there are options to: Cancel Registration, Stop emails from this event organizer and Report SPAM. ^GD

@gotowebinar I get them daily. Without any consent or email confirmation, how can someone add me to their newsletter or webinar? Check DM, I have sent you my email address. (I hope I won't get anymore spam emails).

Looks like customercare@gotowebinar.com is used for massive spam considering I have 25 emails flagged as such in my Spam folder over the last 48 hours. From several different spam senders probably trying to leverage an "authority" email. @gotowebinar any filters on your end?

@TajSoheil We actively monitor SPAM reports and terminate offending accounts. ^GD

@NoObviousWrong Not likely because webcast attendees join in the browser. Organizers and panelists use the desktop software and can test their audio, but attendees are browser only, if they can hear the audio from any video in their browser they will be able to hear the webcast. ^KG

@NoObviousWrong 2/3 Once you're in the session, select Listen in! Click for audio (if prompted) to connect your audio. Note: By default, attendees are muted and cannot be unmuted during a webcast webinar event so your Mic icon will remain red (muted) for the duration of the session. ^KG

Does anyone know if there's been a change in the webcast attendee screen for @gotowebinar? I have a client who says they used to be able to check their sound/speakers, but this option isn't available anymore?

@gotowebinar Thanks! The client said they thought there used to be an option in the Webcast window that they could click on to test audio (speakers), but it's no longer there. Is there a way to test the audio in GTW? Otherwise we send them to a site like YouTube to see if they can hear that.

@NoObviousWrong 1/3 For a webcast, If you have a headset plugged in or you're paired via Bluetooth, you'll hear the webinar audio through the headset. If you don't have a headset connected, the webinar will play through your computer speakers. ^KG

@niksadecimal Hi Sean, with GoToWebinar Classic you can you ChromaCam support.goto.com/webinar/help/h… If the webinar organizer has switched to our new GoTo App experience it is a native feature. ^GD

It's 2024 and @gotowebinar still hasn't given people an option to blur backgrounds if they're on camera. Awesome work, fellas.
