This is always the laziest deflection. No human being operates like that. People comment on the conflicts receiving the most media coverage, political attention, censorship battles, and Western funding involvement. The Israel-Palestine conflict is tied directly to US foreign policy, billions in aid, and constant public discourse, so naturally people discuss it more. Fuck your whataboutism.

People care because watching ethnic violence, humiliation, and abuse of civilians tends to provoke a human reaction, especially when billions in taxpayer dollars, military aid, diplomatic cover, and nonstop media attention are involved. The size of the country is irrelevant. By that logic nobody should have cared about apartheid South Africa, Kosovo, Rwanda, or Northern Ireland either. Distance doesn’t magically make cruelty unworthy of scrutiny.
